4 Ways to Reuse Christmas Cards

Christmas Card

We have a wonderful tradition at our church every year at Christmas time, we exchange cards ..with everyone.   I love it!  Now though it's after Christmas and I'm faced with a lot of Christmas cards that I hate to throw away they are so pretty!

So here are my 4 favorite ways to reuse Christmas Cards:

Note Card for presents
1. Note card for wrapped presents - Just find a pretty scene and cut it out and fold!  You can write you own To: and From: on the inside.

Homemade Gift Tags from Christmas Cards

2. Gift Tags for Bags:   Cut out you scene and punch a hole in the corner.  You can use thread, ribbon, or yarn.

3. Smaller Cards:  With large cards sometimes you are able to make a new smaller card after you have cut out the greetings from the previous sender.

Puzzle made out of Christmas card

4. Puzzles.  Puzzles are a great way to use the cards that people had wrote notes on the back of the front part of the card. Just glue the card to cardboard (cereal boxes are great for this) and cut out little puzzle designs.

Tip:

Don't forget the back -sometimes you are able to use the small picture on the back of the card to make another tag.

What are some of the ways you reuse Christmas Cards?
